Description
Almost no musical work has had such a powerful influence or evoked as much controversy as Igor Stravinsky’s ballet score “The Rite of Spring” which will be performed with Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, one of his most enduringly popular pieces. Courtney and the Symphony will be joined by pianist Inon Barnatan who has played with many of the world’s greatest orchestras including Cleveland, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
