It’s Rhapsody in Blue’s 100th birthday! The Symphony welcomes back brilliant pianist Conrad Tao to throw Gershwin’s jazzy masterpiece the party of the century. Adding to the celebration, Tao will also play Rachmaninoff’s Fourth Piano Concerto, a rich and sweeping soundscape full of the composer’s hallmark virtuosity. Rounding out this blockbuster program are Jessie Montgomery’s pulsating piece, Strum, and Carl Nielsen’s dramatic “Inextinguishable Symphony.”

Conrad Tao Piano
