Program
The full Jacksonville Jazz Collective blows open the inaugural Jazz Series with a tour of big band music, from the energetic swing of the East Coast to the cool, sophisticated style of the West.
This program runs approximately 1 hour 45 minutes and has one 20-minute intermission.

James Jenkins Jazz Series Curator & Jacksonville Jazz Collective Director
A 1983 graduate of the University of Miami, Mr. Jenkins served as the Principal Tubist with the Alabama Symphony for 10 years, along with holding faculty positions at the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa), The University of Montevallo, Samford University, Birmingham Southern College, and the University of Miami.
