Conductor Kevin Fitzgerald opens the Coffee Series with two of the greatest giants in music history. Tchaikovsky’s Tempest Overture is a deeply evocative work that captures the spirit of Shakespeare’s play in an unforgettable way, full of passion and turmoil, beauty and tenderness. A work most famous for its hauntingly beautiful second movement, the emotional depth and power of Beethoven’s Seventh makes it one of his most beloved symphonies.
